Once a week you have to pay the bill in Club Nautico. That is on a
Wednesday, like today.
For most cruisers it means 40.000 pesos for the dinghy-dock fee and what
they have consumed on beverages and food the last week. Connected to this
event is the happy hour from 17.00 to 19.00 in club Nautico. At that time
the price of a beer is 1500 pesos (0.75$ US) and a Cuba Libre is also to
get for half price.
It is the only time that the sailors meet at club Nautico. It is so known
that even the sailors that have their boat in Club the Pesca or in one of
the wharfs come to have a beer together. The happening ends like a church
ends. At 19.00 hours, everybody is gone.
