h3.Concert in the Cayos Hollandeses
A Pot-Luck Party on Footloose, the boat of Herman and Susanne. Every visitor brings everything to eat and to drink. This makes it easy to organize a party. Only a spot is needed, the rest is a little work for many hands.
At the highpoint of the party there were 11 dinghies hanging behind Footloose. So, at least 25 people on one boat.
Only a small squall
We were lucky. Only a small squall passed by and didn’t hit us directly, otherwise it would be a lot of hassle to keep everybody dry. Also with boats at anchor, some people get nervous about their boat, and sometimes even boats start to drag. That would be the end of the party. But nothing like this happened this night.
Strange position to play in
But it didn’t sound too bad. The music was Bossa Nova’s and some well known Jazz standards.
