LOCATION: Tom Bigbee, USA
Woke up at sunset. We had to. We were in bed of 12 hours. A bleak sun, mist
coming up from the river-water, a reddish sky where the sun would come up.
The deck was icy, slippery. It was freezing till around 11.00 hours. Even
my coffeemug frooze on the doghouse.
Despite all the layers of clothes I was cold, specially my feet. We were
lucky there was no wind. The engine came to life very slow but did the rest
of the 50 miles today without problems. I didn’t eat much, just some gritz.
Drank lots of coffee to keep warm.
